SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL LEARNING CURRICULUM

ZIA LEARNING CUSTOM SEL CURRICULUM

Our program addresses the five recognized components of social-emotional learning connected to core instructional strategies and within the context of a personalized learning environment. Zia understands that the new focus on remote learning calls upon students to become more autonomous learners. The online/remote and digital classroom has brought about both new opportunities and new challenges. It has become increasingly clear that teachers need tools and strategies to understand and address the social-emotional needs of students. At the same time, students have been given more freedom and autonomy in a personalized or blended model. However, they may lack the critical skills to thrive in this model.

Our SEL Skills implementation is fully integrated across our K-12 core curriculums. This model is further strengthened by ongoing intensive teacher PD along with teacher SEL and proven framework.

Zia Learning has worked with our office for over five years to provide supports for our teachers, staff, and students. Their Healthy Habits for Learning program was implemented district-wide to provide students health, wellness, social and emotional supports while learning remotely. Zia's remarkable programs are a critical part of providing whole-child supports to our students.
